All passwords are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your device. The vault key itself is wrapped by your device's security hardware — Secure Enclave on iOS and macOS, TPM 2.0 with Windows Hello on Windows, hardware keystore on Android.
Open Sync on both devices, choose Local Ethernet, pair with QR, and stay on the same network. If two entries conflict, the newer updated time is kept.
Not from us — but usually on your device. With security hardware, your face, fingerprint, or device passcode verifies you and releases the vault key locally. There is no vendor reset and no server copy. On a device without security hardware, keep an encrypted export.
Open Settings → Export Vault to save an encrypted JSON file. On Android and Windows this needs the store unlock.
Yes. An internet connection is only needed for optional device-to-device sync and for store purchase or Restore Purchases.
iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows through the stores. Zafonyx Local is not a web vault.
No. Install and use. The vault is local-only on this device. There is no Zafonyx Local account to create or sign in to.
The local vault works without paying. Sync and, on Android and Windows, import/export need the store unlock. Windows Store lists a one-time durable add-on, not a subscription. Apple and Google purchases are completed in that store.
Email service@sihuic.com (or receptionist@sihuic.com). Include your platform, app version from Settings → About, which store you used, and the steps you already tried.
Store passwords in one secure location, organized by categories (Email, Social Media, Banking, etc.). Each password is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage, ensuring protection even if your device is compromised.
Create strong passwords with customizable options: adjustable length (4–32 characters), uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, symbols, and a real-time strength indicator. When you create a new vault entry, click the button on the right of the password field to generate a 16-character strong password automatically.
Find entries across categories with multi-term AND search. Space-separated words narrow results; wrap a phrase in quotes to keep spaces. Search titles, descriptions, and passwords.
Backup and restore vault data in JSON format. JSON backups include authenticator accounts. Easily migrate from other password managers or create regular backups.
Store website verification codes next to your passwords. Link, import, and copy codes without a separate authenticator app.
Use Face ID on iOS or Touch ID on supported devices for quick, secure access without typing your master password every time.
Turn on device biometrics, allow the app permission, fall back to your PIN, then restart the app.
Put both devices on the same network, choose Local Ethernet, finish QR pairing, unlock both vaults, and keep the app in the foreground. On Android and Windows, complete the store unlock first.
On Android and Windows, complete the store unlock or Restore Purchases. On iOS and macOS, open Settings → Data Management. Check file access permission.
